Jeff Kraus - Crêpe Bar
After opening Crepe Bar in 2012, chef/owner Jeff Kraus has grown the restaurant from beloved neighborhood eatery, to one of the most revered restaurants in the Valley. Thanks to his fearless approach to creating unique and innovative dishes, he has deservedly garnered recognition from such organizations as Phoenix Magazine, Edible Phoenix, the Arizona Restaurant Association, and the Food Network. In 2018, the City of Tempe proclaimed August 9 as Jeff Kraus & Crepe Bar day.

“While this situation is pushing us to the extreme, both mentally and physically, as the leader of 18 employees and the sole owner of a neighborhood restaurant that’s been open for eight years, I will continue to keep the good, healthy vibes flowing.
Since rolling out our curbside pickup format, we’ve been bolstered by the support and positivity our community has for us. We’re constantly working on things that will help keep the business going and ensure our employees are earning their wages. The amount of support and positive vibes we’ve received is like a power-up bar that helps keep us sustainably moving forward. Together, we are building a bridge that will lead us to the other side.”
