On November 6, our community suffered the tragic loss of talented chef, dedicated family man, and dear friend Jose Mackario Jimenez. While we mourn his loss, we will always celebrate his enduring spirit and light.

In celebration of Jose's life, we invite you to join us at a special benefit dinner held at The Icehouse in downtown Phoenix. We'll come together to enjoy an evening filled with all the things Jose loved so much: good food and drink shared in the company of friends and family.

Some of the Valley's most talented chefs who have worked with Jose will come together to share in this special evening. They include:

In addition, throughout the evening, DJ Consumer C will be spinning some of Jose's favorite tunes. Come join us for an evening of togetherness as we celebrate a special man and his wonderful life!

The event is free to attend, with food and drink available for a donation.

Information will be provided at guest check-in. Credit cards, debit cards and cash accepted. All proceeds will benefit Jose's family.

Note: Food and drink are being graciously donated by the participating chefs and quantities may be limited. Our chef teams will work hard to ensure there is enough for everyone, but they may run out before the end of the evening. If, at some point, we are no longer able to serve certain (or all) items, we hope you stay to enjoy this celebration of Jose's life with his friends, family and community.

PARKING: There is metered street parking and a paid public parking lot (241 W. Jackson St.) in walking distance of The Icehouse. If you reside in the area, we recommend using a ride share or car service.

Note: There is a parking lot across the street from The Icehouse reserved for Maricopa County contractors. We do not have official permission to use that lot. Park at your own risk.
