Stephen Jones - the larder + the delta
With a wealth of culinary expertise spanning his illustrious career, Stephen Jones is a staple in the Phoenix food community. Having worked in such kitchens as Tarbell's, Latilla at the Boulders Resort, and Blue Hound Kitchen + Cocktails, he brings his culinary skill and love for his craft to the larder + the delta, his restaurant located in the Portland on the Park area of downtown Phoenix, and ode to his passion for Southern cuisine.
Why this dinner is important:
"On the night of March 20, 2020, the larder + the delta was, like so many others, forced to close its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While there is no doubt in my mind that this is/was the correct course of action needed to help flatten the curve, combat the spread of this virus and ultimately keep us all safe, the effects and ramifications surrounding the closures will be financially devastating to us in the hospitality industry.
The funds raised through this project will help our staff, not including myself or any business partners, with rent, bill pay, medical bills and to put food on their tables. Our goal is to aid our employees through these unforeseen scary times and to show them that the community supports them."
