Erik Syhre- Fox Restaurant Concepts
Fox Restaurant Concepts has generously chosen to donate all proceeds earned from their dinner to the other restaurants benefitting from this effort. By booking this experience you are giving some support to all of the restaurants on this list.
Erik Syhre leads the culinary team for Culinary Dropout and The Yard at Fox Restaurant Concepts. He has worked for FRC for over 11 years, contributing to the opening of new stores and breathing new life into existing concepts. It was in his mother’s kitchen that Erik first learned to cook alongside his mom and grandmother, the two women he credits for beginning his career in the restaurant industry. His menus are inspired from homecooked dishes he grew up with.
Why this dinner is important:
"I experienced firsthand how COVID-19 has affected the restaurant industry, as over 1,000 Culinary Dropout employees have been furloughed. Seeing some of my favorite spots around town shut their doors, whether temporarily or permanently, has been one of the most heartbreaking moments in my career.
Being included in the Community Dinner Fundraiser provides the opportunity to lessen the blow of COVID-19 and lets us give back to all the local restaurants we’ve come to know and love. Without our staff to spend service with and great spots to spend our days off at, there’s an integral part of the culture that is missing. I look forward to us toasting over good food and good company!"
